DMEM/F12 Medium with L-glutamine and phenol red, no HEPES is a widely used basal medium formulated for the growth of mammalian cells, including MDCK, glial cells, fibroblasts, endothelial cells, stem cells, hPSC, iPSCs, and hESCs.

[+] L-Glutamine, [+] Phenol Red, [+] Sodium Pyruvate, [-] HEPES

500 mL

DMEM/F12 Medium with L-glutamine and phenol red, and added sodium pyruvate, no HEPES, by Captivate Bio is formulated for superior quality, reliability, and consistency for use in mammalian cell cultures. DMEM/F12 is a 1:1 mixture of DMEM and Hams F-12. The combination of DMEM’s high concentration of amino acids, vitamins, and glucose, enriched with Ham’s F-12 Nutrient Mixture, was found to support the growth of a wide range of mammalian cells, including hPSCs, MDCK, glial cells, fibroblasts, human endothelial cells, and rat fibroblasts.

DMEM/F12 is a serum-free, basal medium that requires supplementation with serum like FBS, growth factors, or human platelet lysate.

This DMEM/F12 is modified as follows:

[+] L-Glutamine

[+] Phenol Red

[+] Sodium Pyruvate

[-] HEPES
